Anne and Fay used to be best friends. That was twenty years ago. Anne married Richard, moved to Surrey and they had a daughter - Emma. Fay went back to America and became a leading writer on women's issues.

On a lecture tour of England, Fay stays for a weekend with her old friend. For the first time, Anne has someone she can tell her darkest secret to - a secret she has kept from Richard. But outspoken Fay has her own ways of helping Anne overcome her sexual doubts. By the en of the weekend, the couple's lives have changed dramatically - and in ways they'd never have guessed!

Friends Like This is an adult comedy with serious moments, mixing laughter and life in an Ayckbourn-esque cocktail. A sophisticated evening, that will make you think, but make you laugh more.
