A young Jewish New Yorker arrives in rural Ukraine, looking for the woman he believes saved his grandfather’s life during the war. Accompanied by a blind driver, a sexually excitable dog and an enthusiastic translator with a unique grasp of English, he sets off on an unpredictable adventure in search of a village no one has heard of, and which doesn’t exist on the map.
Their journey becomes a desperate search for historical truth and personal redemption.
